![]() ![]() They once again reinforce what’s coming next in “Destiny 2.” A new game is not coming right afterward. They promise the Light and Dark saga will have an actual, climactic conclusion with The Final Shape. Narrative team is focused on connecting seasons 20-23 more than last year’s seasons ahead of Lightfall. Next season is heading into “creative territories we’ve never explored before.,” Changes to seasonal progress and an all-new mechanic. Damage falloff will increase on almost all weapons. More weapon tuning is coming next season which has two goals, reduce variance between mid-range weapons and reduce average engagement range in Crucible. Not totally new weapons like glaives, but subfamilies within the existing types. There are new weapon “subfamilies” coming. More exotic armor is being reworked for next season. There are another three Strand aspects coming next season, Whirling Maelstrom (Hunter), Banner of War (Titans) and Weavewalk (Warlocks). Remember uhhh Ascendant Shards no longer go to the Postmaster… Ritual rank-ups will now show immediately on your screen when hit, and will instantly give you rewards. Iron Banner will have pursuits that both do and do not require a specific subclass. There is a resource tab in Collections that explains what literally every currency in the game does and how to spend it. Fun fact I have never used a transmat effect. Transmats are now unlocks like ghost projections. You still need to own and beat the Beyond Light campaign, they are not making Stasis free. Stasis aspects and fragments are moving to the vendor system where you buy them for glimmer. You will be able to pin 100 favorite shaders, ornaments and emotes to the top of their lists. They are giving themselves “more freedom” narratively and in gameplay in seasons 22 and 23. They know Destiny stability has been very bad, and they are fixing things in next season and the season after, they’ve gone over this in the past, lots of technical things like “chaos testing” and “auto-recovery.” In short, they’re working on it. You are still cheating if you give your account to someone and they cheat. ![]() They are suing a bunch of cheatmakers and have already won a bunch of cases. ![]()
